Max was our first rescue of 2010. He is a handsome, if somewhat portly, 11 year old cream gentleman who came to rescue by way of the very nice Animal Control Officer in Framingham, MA. She was a friend of Max’s owner who was gravely ill. Kathy took responsibility for Max and contacted us. We arranged a foster home with Chris & Larry who took him in when Max’s owner died. Max was quickly adopted by Jim & Barbara of NH and will spend his remaining days with their other senior Afghans being doted on and coddled. Thank you to Kathy, Larry & Chris and Barbara & Jim for helping make a very difficult time for Max a little bit easier.
